Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and specializes in counseling for adolescents, adult individuals, and families with issues such as, depression, poor self-esteem, self-harming behaviors, eating-disordered behaviors, overwhelming anger, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma.
Amy received a Masters of Social Work from UALR in 2005 and is trained and experienced in utilizing EMDR and DBT. She has been engaged in the mental health field from varying perspectives over the past 14 years, including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient therapy with adolescents, adults, and families, has served as a hospital administrator, and has educated colleagues, teachers, and school counselors via seminars and webinars.
She is thrilled to arm clients with insight and skills to tackle life's challenges.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys horsing around with her son and her dog, volunteering with causes she feels passionate about, reading, cooking, and yoga.
