Henry is passionate about helping individuals, couples and families strengthen their relationships, discover healthy perceptions of themselves, find healing from trauma and take positive steps through difficult life transitions.
Henry holds A MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University and uses a range of highly effective, evidence-based counseling approaches. He uses a combination of Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is highly skilled in Grief Recovery as well as Affair Recovery. Henry also uses a technique called Brainspotting for clients who have a trauma history. Brainspotting locates points in the client’s visual field that help to access unprocessed trauma in the subcortical brain. (https://brainspotting.com/). He considers all his clients as unique individuals who are part of a larger family system. He has a host of experience assisting couples with communication issues and a lack of intimacy in their relationships. Invest some intentional time in yourself and allow Henry to gently guide you toward achieving your personal and relational goals.
In his spare time, Henry enjoys spending quality moments with his loving wife traveling to various destinations in Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Texas to visit family and grandchildren. He enjoys live music, festivals, historic bed and breakfasts and riding his Harley Trike since he has given up on ever racing Motocross again. Henry loves any activity that involves interacting with people who have interesting stories to tell. He and his wife enjoy volunteering at their church and entertaining guests in their home.
