Logan Golden

Logan provides psychotherapy to all ages and specializes in addressing and providing assistance to minority populations. He believes that every individual is born with a set of cards reflective of their personal experiences. Therefore, he makes it his mission to assist you in playing your hand in the best way possible. Therapy in and of itself can come across as daunting and, at times, a little bit uncomfortable. However, Logan takes great pride in fostering a healthy and calming therapeutic alliance with his clients and hopes he can do the same for you!

Logan believes that treatment should focus on health, possibilities, and hope- not negative pathology to facilitate the natural healing process. All people possess the necessary resources to face life’s challenges, and it is Logan's pleasure to help you unlock them. The Satir Model of Transformational Systemic Therapy entertains the idea that, by resolving the past trauma we can live with more positive energy. It is Logan's personal belief that we can choose to hold on to positive feelings which provide validation and let go of those negative feelings which do us a disservice.

During your time with Logan, you will witness and participate in various techniques such as somatic exercises, Reiki, music therapy, meditation, and even virtual reality to assist you along your quest for uncovering your true self. Everyone's journey to self-actualization is different from another’s yet establishing a sense of community is one of the many pillars that Logan hopes to build alongside you. Logan is a teacher at heart and feels that knowing the “why” behind our actions adds a different dimension to the susceptibility of the healing process. He currently holds a master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling as well as a Reiki Mastership certification. He is also in adjunct counselor at the Salvation Army both for the general population as well as their Renewal Place inpatient care facility.

In his spare time, Logan enjoys cooking for loved ones, singing, exercising, and spending time with his pug. If he could, Logan would spend his time traveling the world tasting as many new cuisines possible.

Logan sees children ages 7 and up, teens, young adults, and young couples, as well as the LGBTQIA+ community.
