Natalie Cassell
LAC
Natalie has a passion for helping individuals of all ages and their families navigate big life changes, parenting stresses, relationship issues, and mental health challenges, such as depression and anxiety. She uses evidence-based therapeutic interventions and provides feedback, encouragement, and little doses of humor as you work through the thoughts, feelings, and unhealthy coping mechanisms holding you back from living your best life.
Natalie holds an MS in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Southern Arkansas University and takes a holistic, integrative, person-centered approach to therapy. In other words, Natalie believes the best way to tackle a problem is by treating the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. She also believes that YOU are the expert in your own life. You have the answers – she is just here to help you on your journey to finding them. She has experience in using play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and traditional talk therapy to help her clients achieve their individualized goals.
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys gardening, hiking, geocaching, camping, relaxing in her hammock with a good book, or sitting around the fire pit on a cool clear night with her family. Natalie also enjoys working on her small hobby farm and chasing after her menagerie of free range critters, which includes her five human children.
Natalie sees individuals of all ages 4+.
