Peggy is passionate about helping others and strives to tailor the counseling experience to meet the client where they are and to help them to identify their personal strengths which they can use to help themselves.
Peggy is a Licensed Associate Counselor with over ten years’ experience working in the mental health field. After serving as a mental health para-professional for seven years, she chose to pursue her passion for helping others and attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she earned her Master’s in Counseling.
Peggy has experience helping those who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, interpersonal/relationship problems as well as a variety of life stressors by utilizing techniques, theories, and skills learned during her years of counseling and continuing education. Currently she uses Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral therapies and is passionate about learning new skills to improve her services. Peggy has experience working in the tele-health field as well as office setting and is flexible to meet client's needs.
In her free time, Peggy enjoys spending time with family and pets, fishing, hiking, nature photography, as well as learning how to play the violin.
Peggy sees Children age 7 and up, Teens, and Adults.
