Sarah specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, family/relational conflicts, parent-child connection. Sarah is passionate about teaching adults and children that being in our emotions, feeling our emotions and understanding our emotions is okay and important for us to do. She also strives to help people understand that therapy is not only for the “sick” but also the healthy.
Sarah holds a MS in Clinical Mental Health from John Brown University and uses a range of highly effective, evidence- based counseling approaches. She has completed training in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral therapy and draws upon various methods of this morality to treat clients who have experienced complex trauma. Sarah has also completed certification for Technology Assisted Counseling, which allows her to provide counseling over video, phone or email.
Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, being outdoors, hiking, canoeing, trying our new restaurants, playing outdoors with her children, and having lots of dance parties with her children and husband.
