Sunnie Butcher

Along our therapeutic journey, we will work towards developing a high emotional IQ, mood/emotional stability, and relationship dynamics to improve your overall personal growth and self-empowerment. As your therapist, we’ll explore what has directly/indirectly affected you as an individual, as well as your role within your relationships that has impacted who you are, today. Sunnie is conducive to upholding a supportive, open, empathetic, non-judgmental environment. She is uniquely unconventional and compassionate within her authenticity as she has integrated honesty, humor, and a genuinely straightforward approach to developing a personable therapeutic relationship.


She holds an MS in Science- Counseling Psychology from the University of Central AR. She is a Limited Psychologist with an LPE-I and 15 years of clinical experience. She uses an eclecticism of effective evidence-based approaches. She is trained to treat PTSD and trauma-related issues through TF-CBT, CBT/DBT. She has experience and training in Play therapy, substance abuse, and criminal behaviors/delinquency. Sunnie has extensive experience with mood disorders, LGBTQ, and Eating Disorders. She has a specialization in Technology-Assisted Counseling, which allows him to provide counseling over video, phone, or email.


In her spare time, Sunnie enjoys playing with her two boys, running, being outside, on the water, water sports, ranch life, and taking care of her horse as she actively learns how to ride.



 

Sunnie sees children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
