Kate is motivated to listen and help adult individuals build skills to understand themselves and their patterns through a loving perspective, practice mindfulness and self-compassion, heal from trauma, build healthier relationships, take personal responsibility, and discover their own resilience and strengths.
Kate earned her MSW at Washington University in St. Louis, with a concentration in Mental Health. She is trained and has experience using several evidence-based treatment modalities, including techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindful Self-Compassion to treat and manage depression, anxiety, and a range of trauma-related issues in individuals, as well as build skills to improve self esteem and cultivate healthier relationships.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys baking desserts, reading everything, blasting music while driving, talking film with friends, spending time with her cat Hazel, yoga, and hiking.
Kate works with individual adults and couples.
