Lydia Theisen
LPC
Lydia loves to work with tiny humans (children) and their grown-ups/family members, teenagers, and adults. Lydia believes in tailoring treatment to each client and family, and while there is no one-size-fits-all all treatment, Lydia uses evidenced-based treatment models to guide her practice. Lydia uses empathy, warmth, humor, and a dash of razzle-dazzle with all her clients and strives to help each client end up in a better place than where they started.
Lydia graduated with a Master’s and Educational Specialist’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Harding University in 2019. Lydia incorporates a blend of person-centered, solution-focused, mindfulness, DBT, and CBT techniques into her practice when working with teenagers and adults, and she is trained in several treatment models for children and their families including TF-CBT and PCIT.
In her spare time, Lydia enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active, traveling, and reading.
Lydia sees individuals ages 4 to 40.
